RM7si Minimonitor "Jeepers, those are good speakers!" - Peter Mitchell, Stereophile With the RM7si, you can fill your room with music, not speakers. Judging by the full, rich sound it produces, you'd never guess that our compact RM7si is just 15" high, 9" wide, and 12" deep. It fits easily on a shelf, on stands, or even hung from the wall (we suggest omnimount wall brackets). |

We didn't cut corners on quality. Frankly, it's hard to justify the amount of money we spent on the RM7si's components. Sure, Polypropylene Capacitors, 18 gauge Winslow Coils, Cardas Cable, and European Drivers are expensive. Far too expensive for a pair of $1299 speakers, judging by the competition's standards. But we wanted the RM7si to be an irresistible value, and an affordable way to bring music lovers to the sound of Joseph Audio. And besides, better parts deliver better sound. Unlike other speakers, sound emerges from the RM7si with very even dispersion so the music remains clear even if the speakers cannot be placed directly at ear level. This is thanks to our patented Infinite Slope technology. And the rugged 6.5" glass fiber woofer delivers bass with surprising weight and authority. Even owners of larger speakers have found the RM7si's sound to be a satisfying upgrade in quality while the smaller size makes it easier to believe that the musicians are "in the room" with you - instead of bulky speaker cabinets. The RM7si is also very easy to drive. The impedance never falls below 7 ohms, so you can run with virtually any system. You can upgrade to RM7si's without replacing your amplifier or receiver. When we introduced the RM7si at the Hifi '95 show in Los Angeles, showgoers were invited to cast their votes for the best sound at show. There were over 150 exhibits, many featuring multi-thousand dollar contenders by some of the world's biggest brands. Much to our amazement, when the votes were tallied, our $1299 RM7si had emerged to place on the "Best Sound At Show" list. The Joseph Audio RM7si is available in Oak, Black, Cherry and Rosewood (shown) finishes. |
